What is the best home security system out there that is budget friendly? I live in Central New Jersey. Thanks!

Just purchased a home and am interested in installing a home security system. Since there are so many companies out there, I was looking for other's personal experiences with home security companies. Good and bad? Also something that won't break the bank!! Thanks everyone!

1. Google it! As for being budget friendly they don't cost that much to montor its just the install price. Call around!
2. I can understand your concern for budget, however be careful in what you choose. Many companies will offer you "free" alarm systems. Typically these are wireless and will end up costing you more in the long run. Even if they are hardwired, the "free" systems are below basic and do not offer sufficient protection for larger homes. 3. I agree with keep safe free alarms are just nothing but problems. I was thinking about getting one until I read some articles on the keep safe webpage. with companies to use according to http://homesecurityalarminfo.blogspot.com avoid the big names like adt brinks protection 1 alarmforce and definately stay away from wireless.
