Who is the best home security company and why?

My neighbors house was robbed and now we want to get a home security system from a company like ADT, GE Protect America, Brinks, or Guardian. Has anyone used any of these companies and have an opinion about them. Obviously we'd like to get the best system for the best price. Who has that? So far I am leaning towards GE Protect America. Thanks all
