Security Advantage

This is something that has bugged me for a long time. Would you be willing to sacrifice your personal safety-

to save a few seconds? The problem I'm talking about is something either you do or you've seen - Whenever a vehicle you're riding in comes to a stop and you are leaving the vehicle - why do you STAND UP BEFORE THE VEHICLE STOPS? Planes, buses, and many others I'm sure. Are you in that much of a hurry that's you're willing to injure yourself? Sometimes when I drive a shuttle I'm tempted to hit the brakes a little harder for people that do that (and our signs specifically say that we aren't responsible for injury if you're not wearing a seat belt) and if you're standing up you're obviously not wearing one. Your thoughts? I said hit the brakes a LITTLE harder. I'm not trying to deliberately injure anyone. But yeah it seems so acceptable to not have any common sense these days.. What if someone backs out in front of me? What if someone pulls out in front of me? Or I have to make a panic stop for whatever reason? Should they be allowed to sue if that happens too?

5. Do you want to risk losing a law suit to find out. Signs mean nothing now a days.Don't worry about it. There are more important thinks to worry about.
6. Why does it bother you and if your tempted to hit the brakes to teach them a thing or two you are more dangerous than the passengers are and you need to look for another line of work.

8. No not intentionally but we do it with out thinking as we get away with it most times and only think about or stop once some thing happens . Human nature doing what they are asked not to. You may not responsible for passenger injuries as a driver , unless you cause the injury deliberately. And hard braking for no reason could be called deliberate.
9. Do like they do on the airlines. Use your voice. "Please remain seated until the aircraft is in the terminal and stopped. Thank you." Of course you would only have to say "Please remain seated until we are fully stopped. Thank you."
10. I dont consider my personal safety at risk standing up in a bus before it completely stops.....theres always something to hang on to no matter how hard you hit the brakes, to maintain my personal balance............ what if...what if...what....your to paranoid bub, get a different job.......
11. What kind of question is this? I think too many people in this country are too interested in MY well being. You guys should just back-off. If some dope gets his nose broken because he's in a hurry then GREAT! We'll all have a laugh.
