Who can you report threats made against your personal safety on the internet to?

(I wouldn't worry if this person was ONLY an online threat, however, this is someone who KNOWS where I live, and work, etc.) The person resides in the same state as I do. And WAS a friend!!

Public Comments

1. Contact your local police
2. You need to print out all your evidence and share it with your local police station, make sure its all backed up on your computer in case they want to go through it on there too. Good Luck, I hope everything turns out ok
3. You need to speak to the state police in your state or go to the Attorney General's Office. Both are equipped to handle computer crimes.
4. Police. Print it out and go over there if you believe the threat is real and this person knows your info and can reach you from where they are. Like if a guy across the country knows where you live, not that big a deal.
5. I would if it was consistent but if it was one time then they left you alone it might not be a big deal.
