Security Advantage

I am looking for a good diy home security system with indoor lasers and a siren anyone know a good site?

Thank you my family has been a victim of a robbery when we were not home during the day . We are allready getting a dog and now we need the security. I dont want a system that someone else monitors if its monitored I want to be the one that is notified of a intrusion not a home security company.Any info on this would be great .

1. I am a security consultant and prior police officer and just curious after experiencing a home robbery why wouldn't you want a home security system that is monitored by a professional agency? In case of a break in...or fire...or medical emergency...that monitoring agency contacts the appropriate agency whether it be the fire department...police department....or paramedics. They do not infringe on your privacy. Its better to have the right agency handle the emergency than yourself.
