The security numbers and letters for my ability to send an e-mail is happening quite often lately and is slowing me down drastically. What can be done?

1. You can do nothing until Yahoo decide to stop it. They do this on new accounts till they are sure you are not spamming. It wil stop soon. Good luck.
2. If the mail you are sending has the look of spam, then you get the character string code as a safety feature to ensure that you are a human being and not a spam bot sending out thousands of spam mailings to the world. It may be a pain but type in the code and go on as usual. Once they realize you are not sending out spam, it will stop.
