Is it advisable to have several fake video security camera along with some real ones?

I'm planning on getting two indoor wireless security camera and one outdoor one. Will it be advisable to put up some fake security cameras as well? I live in a safe neighborhood and never had any problems the past 10 years, but better to be safe than sorry. Can you give me any tips about both real wireless security camera and fake ones? It's just to keep the opportunistic burglars at "bay". I know nothing will keep out hardened criminals if they want to rob and kill me. Thanks.

1. If you want to keep bad guys out of your house, skip the cameras. Get a dog. A BIG dog. I have never worked one burglary at a house with a dog. Ever.
2. Definitely advisable. Also you should get a few signs saying that you have camera's in the area. The police might be able to help you with that.
3. You want to have a wired system, it should work on your computer for days or weeks without replacing the recoding media. Your paying for your safely, having a fake is a really stupid thing to do. It;s your stuff, and you will never get it back unless you have the video
4. HIGH TECH. Ok if you are going to get cameras why get fake ones. They aren't exactly cheap. They are not as expensive as the real thing, but well if you want to get your place protected. Get a camera system and install some cameras that can't be seen. The smarter the people get the smarter the criminal gets. Also Dogs help A LOT. Anything that deters a criminal, adds to your benefit.
